Riccardo Ballerini

Rik is the current Nationwide supersport 400 champion. He clinched the championship in a nail biting climax last season where he and Dave "Wavey" Hewson slugged it out in the final round at Brands Hatch.

Last year Rik actually rode as a wild card for the Spots - scoring heavily for them. He has since seen the error of his ways, admitted his real age and been forced into making recompense by riding for the Old Farts this year.

A great favourite with fellow riders and others associated with Bemsee (especially females) he is easily identified by his flowing locks and the fact that he's normally in front (or on his arse in the gravel).
