Years Racing: One so far

Member of Team Old Farts cos racing begins at 40. I've been riding bikes since the glory days of the RD250 (that's 1977 for you younguns)

Ambition: to retire asap and live in Spain or Southern France

Likes: Other than bikes I like screeching like an idiot whilst playing guitar, eating good food (esp Indian & Italian), drinking loads of red plonk, and going down the pub. (although its usually in reverse order!)

Dislike: intolerant people, bullies, shoping trolleys, and drivers who enter petrol stations via the exit.

I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. So far I've tried Toolmaker, Aero-Engineer, Shipbuilder, Submarine Repairer, Part Time Student, Cost Engineer, Motorcycle Courier, Contract Negotiator, Computer Security Advisor. I now work as a Civil Servant negotiating engineering stuff with our European family.

Of course none of the above pay enough to go racing so I'm still looking.
