"Senecta perfidiaque iuventutem facultatemque semper superabunt"

Cherie Christian

Date of Birth: 30-06-1962
Home Town: Camberley, Surrey
Bike: Honda NC30
Years Racing: One (so, I started a little late in life)

I started riding back in NineteenSeventySomethingOrOther on a Z250, and went on to ride or own just about every type of bike you could imagine over the next twenty odd years. I currently ride a VTR 1000 on the road.

My rookie season was fanstastic fun, and I am now ready for a bike with a bit more go. Sadly the Bank Manager has advised that, without sponsorship, a new bike is out of the question. This season I will be truly riding the wheels off the poor little bike, doing my best to get up into the midfield and beyond, grinning all the way.

High Points: The first time I didn't finish last, getting the tropy in the Rookie 400 overflow race and being invited to race with the Farts - what an honour!

Low Points: The BIG startline pile-up at Criox, where I sustained a bit of a bang on the head

Ambitions: To win at least one race this season

Favourite Mottos: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.

Favourite Person: Paul Whitby, my long suffering partner and Team Manager/Pit Gimp
